FOREST GROVE — The Tualatin High School boys basketball team, in its final tune-up for the Class 6A state playoffs, rolled to a 46-31 win over Forest Grove in a Pacific Conference season finale played last Thursday at Forest Grove High School.
With the win, the Timberwolves finished league play at 11-4, putting them in second place in the final standings, while they also moved to 16-8 on the season.
Tualatin was scheduled to open the state playoffs Wednesday with a first-round home game with Reynolds. Results of that game weren’t available when the Times went to press.
If Tualatin won its playoff contest with Reynolds, it will play at Oregon City in a state playoff second round game on Saturday.
Seniors Collin Knudsen and Shahyar Solati each scored 11 points for the Wolves in last Thursday’s game at Forest Grove.
Senior guard Connor Ness added six points.
